• Take the brand out of the expected urban environments and start introducing the other environments carhartt people are integrated with such as woods, beach etc to tie in with the other sports and 'outdoors' people who want to get away from the city and get out there. Like you were saying howies have got some of that going on at the minute. Trip to formby for video and photo shoot + bbq at the weekend.
• Probably run it to a more filmic considered 30 second ad than a rushed 15 second sting. Thinking it might work across multiple lcd screens in the store, offset timewise so there's rotation of these nice environemt/carhartt integrated shots going on around.
• Strip back all the type, leave the geometric experiments and just focus on getting Carhartt in there and the treatment of the logo within the environment - more Sagmeister than Non Format.. via Shilo
• Sequences of print based ads, taking the environments and rework some frames but with photography rather than footage obviously. These can be placed sequentially through people's journeys through towns etc to reveal the locations and kind of recreate the video idea.
